Your general Christian and everyone else with an interest in promoting a "God" are now assembling under the tent of Intelligent Design ID. You see, if we persuade without specifics to a particular diety, we will not offend.
Well, you will not find the Church of Jesus Christ LDS among them. As a Latter Day Saint and a Christian (but I repeat myself) let me explain. We have more courage than that. We know what we believe, what we have come to know, and it will not be deluted.
A scripture about the Lord saying that he abhores the fencesitter the most...he who is luke warm....I spew thee out....and although you may have healed and profesied at one time in His name, I know thee not.
Where the LDS Church is the gospel returned to the Earth in this new and last dispensation, we remember our martyred brothers and sisters all the way to the present...missionaries today who are shot and killed. Christ did not cozy up to the pharisees and other religionists of his day to move forward his message.
