It’s not exactly something Mr. and Mrs., Stealth has ever struggled over before: An uncommonly, incredibly fortunate win-win choice. We have positioned ourselves to take advantage of one of two possible existences where most would find either too much of a sacrifice. Over the years we have divested all obligations to credit cards, nonessential material possessions, children, and the anxiety of doing the unconventional.
In less than 8 weeks we will move to Anchorage, Alaska or to the Big Island of Hawaii where guaranteed employment has already been secured in our chosen career in both locations. We have studied the housing markets, church life, and all pertinent costs. We have weighed the advantages of the cost of living in Alaska as opposed to Hawaii and the advantage of the cost of energy in Hawaii as compared to Alaska. We have wrestled over purchasing a home 15 minutes from the beaches of the Big Island to the incredible freshwater and salt water fishing and hunting experiences waiting in Alaska.

We have picked our new Hawaiian home at 250K or a comparable Alaskan home with acreage at 80K less. We certainly have measured the pleasure of the seasons of southern Alaska to the twelve month summers of Hawaii. Both locations have LDS Temples placed a short distance from our chosen homes. We are ecstatic over the hungry economies of both locations. And we are grateful in leaving on this adventure.

So, the question needs to be answered.....where are we moving? We haven't really decided yet.
