Great LDS Video on Fox News

LDS VIDEO
Announcing the doubling of membership in the Northeastern United States over the past twenty years.
I can certainly attest to this with the remarkable Temple on Manhattan Island all the way north to a branch in the Adirondacks of upstate NY where my wife and I were brief members. The sweet, sweet spirit among those simple devoted members caused us after having to leave for Alaska to principal to return the next year. The Chapel is within a quarter mile of the shores of Lake Champlain.

How does one choose between Paradise and Enchantment?

It’s not exactly something Mr. and Mrs., Stealth has ever struggled over before: An uncommonly, incredibly fortunate win-win choice. We have positioned ourselves to take advantage of one of two possible existences where most would find either too much of a sacrifice. Over the years we have divested all obligations to credit cards, nonessential material possessions, children, and the anxiety of doing the unconventional.

In less than 8 weeks we will move to Anchorage, Alaska or to the Big Island of Hawaii where guaranteed employment has already been secured in our chosen career in both locations. We have studied the housing markets, church life, and all pertinent costs. We have weighed the advantages of the cost of living in Alaska as opposed to Hawaii and the advantage of the cost of energy in Hawaii as compared to Alaska. We have wrestled over purchasing a home 15 minutes from the beaches of the Big Island to the incredible freshwater and salt water fishing and hunting experiences waiting in Alaska.

We have picked our new Hawaiian home at 250K or a comparable Alaskan home with acreage at 80K less. We certainly have measured the pleasure of the seasons of southern Alaska to the twelve month summers of Hawaii. Both locations have LDS Temples placed a short distance from our chosen homes. We are ecstatic over the hungry economies of both locations. And we are grateful in leaving on this adventure.

So, the question needs to be answered.....where are we moving? We haven't really decided yet.

 The Incarnate God

It really isn't rocket science.

Christ is the Incarnate God. That is, he is the Lord Omnipotent, a God "from all eternity to all eternity," and yet he came down from heaven and dwelt "in a tabernacle of clay." (Mosiah 3:5.) Though he had attained Godhood, yet he was thereafter invested with flesh and took upon himself the bodily nature and form of a mortal man. (Mosiah 15.) "I was in the world and made flesh my tabernacle, and dwelt among the sons of men," he said. (D. & C. 93:4; John 1:1-5, 14.)

 Incarnate Question

How can an unchanging, acorporeal God become incarnate and in the process suffer and die?
