Cartoonist - Morten M. Kristiansen, Country of Origin: Denmark

Hero of the Month:
Kristiansen said he had received many protest letters in the past whenever he mocked Christ. The same applies to cartoons about Muhammad, but lately the protest letters from Muslims had increasingly become threats, including death threats in e-mails from places such as Iran. Kristiansen has been adamant that he will not change his behavour because it is important to defend the right to freedom of expression.

Meanwhile, the Danish tabloid Extra Bladet got hold of a 43-page report that Danish Muslim leaders and imams, on a tour of the Islamic world are handing out to their contacts to “explain” how offensive the cartoons are. The report contains 15 pictures instead of 12. The first of the three additional pictures, which are of dismal quality, shows Muhammad as a pedophile deamon, the second shows the prophet with a pigsnout and the third depicts a praying Muslim being raped by a dog. Apparently, the 12 original pictures were not deemed bad enough to convince other Muslims that Muslims in Denmark are the victims of a campaign of religious hatred.

Akhmad Akkari, spokesman of the 21 Danish Muslim organizations which organized the tour, explained that the three drawings had been added to “give an insight in how hateful the atmosphere in Denmark is towards Muslims.” Akkari claimed he does not know the origin of the three pictures. He said they had been sent anonymously to Danish Muslims. However, when Ekstra Bladet asked if it could talk to these Muslims, Akkari refused to reveal their identity.

So, what should we do with Akhmad?

Denmark has warned its citizens to avoid Saudi Arabia after Muslim fury mounted over newspaper cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad. Denmark's Jyllands-Posten newspaper, which published the cartoons, issued an apology late on Monday in a statement to Arab countries, sent to the Jordanian news agency Petra.

The drawings, which seemed to portray the prophet as a terrorist, were published in September, but the row erupted this month after diplomatic efforts to solve the issue failed. One drawing shows Prophet Muhammad wearing a turban shaped as a bomb.

Muslims deem images of prophets disrespectful and caricatures blasphemous, and some have threatened Danes and demanded an apology.

Chapter 3a: Greek Philosophy becomes Theology

Specific to prophecies in the Old Testament (Isa: 11:10) and the New Testament (Romans: 11:25), and the Book of Mormon (Jacob 5:7-17), the Gentiles (Hellens) were to be drawn to Christ following His mortal ministry when Israel finally rejects Him (Isaiah 53). The Gentiles were expected to take the authority of God from the Jews and to be integrated into the House of Israel until the last days. It is then that the fullness of the Gentiles would come in and the “times of the Gentiles” would be fulfilled” (D&C 45:25).

Sensible men must have seen this as absurd. They would ask, “How could a pagan, polytheist society of depraved idol worshippers even be interested in the Gospel? Not only that, but how are they to replace us?”

The transition to a significant Gentile Church began as early as 50 A.D.. The doctrinal transition was complete by the close of the second century (200 A.D.). This may seem to be a profoundly rapid transition, but it all actually began shortly after Isaiah made his prophecy. It was then when the classical Greek philosophers began to enter Gentile worship. However, there is not going to be enough resemblance between Greek theology and Judaism to conclude that the philosophers derived very many of their ideas from the Old Testament, but there are several similarities - the consequence being a combined attraction and confusion. And what goes around then is what comes around 2 millennia later.

“Theology” was coined by Plato meaning “discourse about the divine”. However briefly I spend discussing Hellenism, (Greek philosophy at the time of Christ), it should be remembered that their ideas were truly revolutionary due to their contradiction of paganism. And it should be remembered also that the battles of religious liberty fought over it were like those in any other age, complete with their own martyrs (Heraclites and Socrates).

Hellenism is founded primarily on six Greek thinkers. These men include Pythagorus, Parmenides, Heraclites, Anaxagoras, Plato, and Aristotle from 530-322 B.C.

Next Topic: What were the contributions of these men that began to fulfill the prophecy of Isaiah?

Chapter 2b: Preparing Yourself not to Rationalize Away the Truth

This ongoing analysis is meant to reveal the origins of the basic tenets about God contained in Christian orthodoxy. The intent is to encourage orthodox Christians to follow the advice of Justin Martyr, who argued that, if the “opinion of the ancients” should “prove to be worthless” all men should “refuse to follow.” Please not Justin Martyr’s place as a father as listed in the prior list of Fathers of the Church.
This should be agreeable to all Christians, for the true God of the Bible to the one who deserves Man’s veneration, whether He be the God described by Latter Day Saints or the God described by orthodox Christians. The only question should be, “How is God really described within the pages of the Bible?”

One must examine these issues without jumping to conclusions about whether or not it is possible for God to be the way He is described in scripture. A theologian must be very cautious about rationalizing God’s attributes. It is the reader’s challenge to find out HOW God can be the way He is described in the Bible without rationalizing His attributes as they are described in holy writ.

An immense debt of gratitude is owed to the early Church fathers, many of whom gave their lives for the Faith. These early fathers of the Church should be honored for their selfless contribution.

Isn't betting considered a No-No by your Church? Absolutely, With me it's always an investment.

You have a reputation of going for the throat. What is it that sets you off? I am sadly misunderstood here at blogstream, I have the heart of a child . . . . . . . . in a jar on my desk. Other than that: CSI Miami

Many have speculated about your moniker. What is behind StealthArachnid? My brothers and extended family participated in the Smiling Moose Fantasy Football League. My team was the Screaming Arachnid Horde. My identity evolved from there.
